Hi, I’m Ioannis, and I work as a Front-End Developer at Dharma.
I’ve been building web applications for over seven years, specializing in creating fast, accessible, and user-friendly experiences. Throughout my career I’ve worked with modern front-end technologies such as React, Next.js, Vue.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript, always aiming to combine clean architecture with great user experience.
Before joining Dharma, I worked on projects ranging from e-commerce platforms to hospitality software, where performance, scalability, and maintainability were always at the center of my work. I enjoy solving complex technical challenges, but I also believe the best solutions are often the simplest ones.
My journey into software development started with studying Computer Science. After working as a systems administrator, I realized that what truly excited me was building software rather than maintaining it. That curiosity led me into front-end development, and I haven’t looked back since.
Over the years I’ve had the opportunity to work with different technologies, teams, and industries. Every project has taught me something new, whether it was improving performance, designing reusable component libraries, building accessible interfaces, or optimizing developer workflows.
Today my main focus is React, Next.js, TypeScript, web performance, accessibility, and front-end architecture. I enjoy understanding not only how something works, but why it works that way.
Technology evolves incredibly fast, and that’s one of the reasons I enjoy this profession so much. I like experimenting with new frameworks, exploring modern browser APIs, improving application performance, and learning more about software architecture and testing.
Recently I’ve been spending a lot of time diving deeper into topics such as caching strategies, Core Web Vitals, Playwright end-to-end testing, and building scalable front-end applications.

“Build it well. Build it to last.”
When I’m not coding, you’ll probably find me running or spending time outdoors. I’ve completed the Athens Classic Marathon twice, and endurance sports have taught me the value of consistency, discipline, and long-term thinking—qualities that translate surprisingly well into software development.
I also enjoy traveling, exploring new technologies, and continuously challenging myself to learn something new. Whether it’s reading about modern web architecture, experimenting with a side project, or finding a better way to solve an existing problem, I’m always curious to improve.
“Simplicity in Design. Excellence in Execution.”
